Will never forget how that place made me feel. I spent five years as the trampoline ball guard, and I still cherish those memories. I made so many incredible friends truly the greatest camp in the world.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for a couple of things. First and foremost, for an amazing summer for Drew. At one of the orientations, you said something about school prioritizing academics while camp was about teaching a child how to make friends, grow socially and emotionally, and gain confidence - that really resonated with me as a mom to a boy who I view as being still a bit socially awkward and immature. Hearing you say that filled my heart with hope that day, and I want to tell you that I am amazed at the growth Drew had over the summer. It’s nothing specific but he certainly seems to have found his voice, has a better (not perfect yet) understanding of friendships, and learned so many skills at camp. He learned how to swim - going from a kid who wouldn’t put his face in the water to basically a little fishy in the water. He went down the zip line, surprisingly with no fear at all on his first opportunity. He loved science and discovery. He just had the best first experience at camp and I am so grateful to you and the rest of the Ramaquois staff.

Second, I wanted to thank you for giving us the opportunity to give Drew (and hopefully one day our younger daughter Katie!) the best camp experience ever!

I just wanted to take a moment and say that was my daughter's third summer with you guys and by far the best. The counselors this year were amazing. A special shout out to Hollie, bus counselor from van 106, was by far the greatest and most caring woman. She made my daughter feel so welcomed this whole summer. So, Thank you so much. My daughter was super sad when she got home Wednesday afternoon and already misses Ramaquois. She will for sure be back next summer.

I wanted to say thank you for another amazing summer. As a Ramaquois family for over 35 years, I never doubted how much my children would love it, but I was not expecting to have the results we had this summer. My son, Nolan, on his second summer, now a Pio (3), had an amazing summer, but my daughter, Piper, In robins 2, I was incredibly nervous about. She's an introverted child who has trouble in large groups and feels overwhelmed. I knew she'd eventually love Rama, but I was worried. It took maybe 3 days before she was running onto the bus every single morning without even looking back. She is truly a changed little girl, for the better. She warms up in groups faster. She talks to people she might have ignored before. She loves hanging with older girls because they remind her of her camp friends and counselors. She plays games and sports she would've clung to me during. She's blossomed into such a cool and wonderful little girl, and I have you guys to thank for helping to bring that out of her.

So thank you from the bottom of my heart for another amazing summer. Can't believe it's over.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you and everyone at Ramaquois for being a part of Daniel’s village. He has loved every moment at camp. You have given him more than you will ever know and I am beyond thankful for it. This year he really grew into the Cap position and I could see him gaining confidence throughout the summer. I appreciate all he has learned and how he truly had friends at camp- something he struggles with in school.

Your team has always made Daniel feel like one of the kids and he always looked forward to going to camp. The countdown in our house for when camp started was huge each year. Never once did he say he didn’t want to go.

I wanted to thank you for a wonderful summer for both of my boys. Eitan and Coby both had amazing groups of boys and wonderful counselors who they connected to. They got home every day happy and we felt they were safe and well taken care of.

He showed me his autograph book today right when he got off the bus, and every kid wrote "I love you"! He told me that was what he wrote too. My heart!

The staff you have is excellent and makes it a great experience for every kid and every personality. I almost cried today because camp is over.

Sometimes, we could even hear him humming the Ramaquois song. when he returned home each afternoon—exhausted, hungry, and dirty—it was clear he had enjoyed every moment at camp, especially when he’d sing “Rangers Zone” as the final touch.

As the summer comes to a close we want to express how grateful we are for each and every person that touched the lives of Asher and Kaia to make it a wonderful summer. We absolutely adore and cherish every moment and memory Ramaquois has brought us. Here are just some of the highlights of Rama summer 2024:

- Ash and Kaia bonded over activities at camp that they love doing - they even bonded over losing color war together!
- Their confidence and willingness to take risks and try new things has increased tenfold. Asher truly sees himself as an athlete and Kaia prides herself on trying new things and being kind, which is the perfect mindset for her to enter Kindergarten with.
- Kaia being SO excited because she held a bunny and saw a frog.
- Asher’s sheer joy and innocence over playing any and every sport and activity.
- JOEL! Kaia just adores him which is so special for us to see. It was truly a full circle moment to see pictures of her at Joel’s magic show!

The kids have grown and flourished this summer with the guidance of every person in their immediate circle - Vinny, Karen, Jodie, Efram and Jacob, and of course their incredible counselors.

We know there is so much that happens behind the scenes that we don’t hear about. Thank you all for powering through every rain drop, humid day, and problem to make sure that our kids have the best summer ever. We can’t WAIT for summer 2025 & beyond! We love you all!

Lily and Margot had the best summer and it is 100% because of your dedication to letting these kids live their best lives! We did not expect the amazing videos and care packages during our first quarantine, the phone calls checking in throughout, and even the care and concern (and humor) during today's quarantine. Our daughter never wants summertime to end. She is in love with camp ramaquois! She had made a summertime family between the staff and her friends. Our daughter also went from being scared of the water to becoming a fish. The activities are endless and the camp is beautiful. We recommend this camp to everyone.

My son loved every minute of his first year at Ramaquois. He went for six weeks and on his last day, he begged to go back for the full eight weeks next year. He gained so much confidence and made lots of new friends. He loves the traditions and still talks about Rama Games months later. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Best summer camp ever. My son absolutely loved it and he can't wait to go back. Camp counselors and bus counselors were great! Highly recommend.

Our twin boys (entering 3rd grade) went to Ramaquois last summer for six weeks and loved it. Every day they ran onto the bus excited, every day they were happy when they got home, and when the summer ended they immediately said they wanted to go back next summer. They also said they were sad the summer was over because they missed their counselors, which says a lot about how great the staff is. A+.

My kids (ages 7, 6 and 4) absolutely love Camp Ramaquois. They come home every day from camp happy, exhausted and filled with tales of exciting things they did that day — while singing songs about camp spirit. It’s adorably annoying and I know they’re having the absolute best time. The counselors are lovely, the communication from admin is clear and the facilities/grounds are beautiful. I couldn’t ask for anything more from my kids’ camp experience.

We sent our 5 (now 6 year old) last summer and she had an amazing time!! She is still singing the songs and counting down the days until summer 2023! The events they held were amazing and she had the best time everyday!

My twins attended Ramaquios for 4 summers starting in Junior Camp with this summer as 4th graders. We live in Queens and would grab the bus everyday in Manhattan. The growth I would see in my children after 7 weeks every summer was incredible. Camp brought them self awareness, confidence, friendships, and a love for sports and games. My son and I play Bonzo together in the playgrounds now and it is so fun! The swimming instruction is second to none and my kids LOVE so many new activities that they learned at camp. It got them off their ipads and outside everyday. The staff was amazing and my children never had a complaint. I trusted them completely with my kids every summer. I can't rave enough about how these summers shaped my children in the most positive life changing way!

Ramaquois is the camp of your dreams. It's got everything a kid could want, but more than that, great leadership throughout that have remained at camp for decades to make sure the camper's days are fun-filled perfection. Beyond learning to swim, play every sport under the sun, make crafts and games, the kids make life long friends and are spoiled with fun theme days or exciting events almost weekly! Camp Ramaquois is a special place all around. My kids come home happy with stories of each day that fill them with excitement for the next! They met my kids where they were for swimming and elevated their skills, one of my kids learned to swim confidently 100% because of the swim program. I don’t have to worry about sending food, swimsuits or towels and finding their happy faces on the app is the highlight of my summer days. 5 out of 5 stars, would recommend.

Camp Ramaquois is an excellent camp to send your children. It is well run and the staff is very professional. The best summer camp my daughter had, she had it for 2 Years in the row. She learned many things in the camp, art and water sport is her fav, the coaches are friendly and nice.

The best camp experience ever! My son was in cloud 9 every day! To see his face of excitement and adventure every day when he would return home was the most gratifying feeling. Camp Ramaquois was my summer home as a child and I am beyond thankful that it is my children’s summer home as well. The multitude of activities that are offered are outstanding, the staff is amazing and the leadership is phenomenal. Ramaquois encompasses everything and more for a summer camp. I wouldn’t have them go anywhere else.

As my kids first year at camp the staff and other children in their groups made them feel so welcome and part of the camp community! They came home with huge smiles on their faces everyday telling me about all the fun they had doing so many activities- swimming in the lake, gaga ball, wood working, seeing animals, rock climbing and more!

My daughter had such a memorable time at Camp Ramaquois. The activities and sense of community that the staff develops made such a difference. My daughter started later in the summer, so it was a concern how she would be brought into the fold. There were no issues at all! Everyone from the bus driver to the counselors made the experience full of fun and memories

Our 4 year old son enjoyed his first summer at Camp Ramaquois tremendously in 2022. He ecstatically boarded the bus to camp each morning and came home with a smile on his face each afternoon. The camp is very well run. Their activities program is really remarkable - there's even a day where they cover a camp hill in "snow" and the kids go sledding in July! There is a seamless and open line of communication between parents and camp staff throughout the summer. On the last day of camp, our son was already anxiously asking about going again next summer! I would highly recommend this camp to anyone.

We LOVE Camp Ramaquios! My boys have been attending Camp Ramaquois for over 8 years! It is a wonderful way for kids to experience a "sleepaway-like" camp, but also still be home so that parents can share in joy of summer with their kids. My boys have made lifelong friendships, and Ramaquois truly is their "happy place." My oldest was a CAP, and he was so sad when the summer was done. I highly recommend the camp. You will NOT be disappointed.

We have sent three children (2 girls, one boy) to Ramaquois and they have all loved it. The camp is very well run, fun for the kids, and safe. All three of our children bused both ways and the buses were always safe and on time. A wonderful summer camp for kids.

Ramaquois is a great camp! My son had a great first summer there and will be returning. He raved about the campers, the counselors, and all of the activities. They have something for everyone. They are pros and know how a camp is supposed to be run.

Ramaquois has been so incredible for my son for these past 2 summers, and he can't wait to return. Sit down, grab a snack, and get ready to hear about the most hands down unbeatably best place you will ever find. I’ll start off saying that when I come here, I desperately long for Monday and absolutely DREAD Friday because of how amazing it is here. They have everything you need to have fun and more. You don’t even have to step on the bus to feel the love, the camp calls months in advance to make sure that everyone’s needs are fulfilled, in my case, I always get pasta for lunch since it is mainly my diet. When you get on the bus in the morning, the bus counselor(s) greet you openly with a smile and everyone on the bus gets along. When you arrive to your group, everyone is inclusive and instantly becomes great friends that you will know for years to come! I met my best friends here at this camp. Their 8 day schedule gives a diverse range of age-based activities. Ramaquois also has 9 pools, so campers get to swim 1-3 times a day. When there is a heatwave, there is a specialized schedule to keep everyone cool. There are no rainy days here, there is liquid fun, with another schedule for fun indoors to keep everyone safe. The three sides of camp, Boys side, Girls side, and Junior camp engage us campers to various activities and friendly rivalries. On the last day I always cry the bus ride home because I never want to leave, to the point that my eyes are still dry the next summer; which is why everyone keeps coming back. This is my 9th summer here, going into my 10th along with a large portion of my group, we know each other well and our previous counselors are friendly faces. When a camper attends for a certain amount of years, they get free merchandise from the camp such as beach chairs and shirts as a souvenir of their time and dedication. When a camper or staff member comes to Ramaquois for 6 or more years, they are inducted as a LEGEND, and get a brick on Legends Path with their name and chooses a word that suits them. Older campers are placed in Upper Camp, which provides more activities such as Bunt and Steal, the Boys softball league, and Snaps, which is a multi activity program for the girls with the same concept. For the 10th grade campers, they go into the Counselor Apprenticeship Program, or CAPs. They are part time counselors who work with groups, specialty, and events to transition into being a part of the staff. Every day is a special event for at least one age group, or division, to provide even more fun variation for campers to enjoy. The counselors see what each camper needs, and already know them before they step foot on camp to provide a safe, loving, and caring space for all. Campers are cared about so closely, the camp director, Jared, knows the name of all the 1000s of campers and staff at Ramaquois. Included with all of this is the fact that the camp is constantly expanding. Every year there are new buildings and activities to use for our enjoyment. It may seem overpriced or like I am exaggerating, but I am not. This is the best place for anyone to be, nothing will EVER convince me otherwise. Google only lets me put down 5/5 stars, but in reality it is significantly more . I would not be the same person I am today without Ramaquois. It’s more then a summer camp, more then a summer home, it is a higher state of being. Stop, drop, and (sc)roll to your computer and come to this camp NOW!!!

Camp Ramaquois holds such a special place in my heart. My Ramaquois journey started nearly 30 years ago when after years of sleep away camp, I needed to find a new place to call home. I became a counselor and had some of the best summers of my life. I met life long friends and can truly say that Ramaquois is truly, as their slogan suggests, a day camp as complete as a sleep away camp. Fast forward and now I have a child in Ramaquois and it is everything that I remember and so so much more. The team does an amazing job of making every day the best day ever. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the smile on my child's face when he comes off the bus and he immediately tells me every amazing thing that he has done that day. I only wish I could be his age again and go back!

Camp Ramaquois is a special place, where my son feels safe and joyful all summer long. On the last day of the season, the countdown immediately starts until opening day - and we have been counting since 2019! We can't wait to go back in 2021! Every director, staff, and counselor has been terrific. We are proud to call Camp Ramaquois our summer happy place!

Camp Ramaquois is truly a magical place. I went there as a child over 30 years ago, and am fortunate to be able to send both my daughters there. The campers, staff, facilities, vibe, and energy create a happy exciting experience for the children! We are so excited for summer 2021!

Our nine-year-old son spent his first summer at Ramaquois during 2019, and we will be sending our seven-year-old son this summer. The program is phenomenal on all fronts, starting with the professional, devoted, and caring directors and staff. Camp leadership pays attention to every last detail of the programming to ensure that it is safe, fun, and inclusive of the different personalities and skills of the campers. The staff members meet the campers where they are, such that Ramaquois is an awesome experience for the more sporty campers as well as for those who have other interests. The camp resembles overnight camp in so many ways, particularly with respect to its traditions, spirit, values, and activities. If our children never choose to go to an overnight camp, they still will have had a completely full experience at Ramaquois. The camp and its staff have exceeded our expectations in every way.

My rambunctious 9 year old son and my timid 5 year old daughter both bounced off the bus with total delight and stories to tell for days! Thank you Ramaquois for many, many amazing summers and counting!

Camp Ramaquois exceeded our expectations of a day camp. Counselors go above and beyond to ensure my son has an amazing summer. Directors ensure that everything is very organized and thoughtfully run. Well rounded variety of activities too; boating, zip line, swim instruction, sports, art, cooking...Highly recommend!

Ramaquois is the best camp. First time my son went, we were a bag of nerves, but the moment he stepped off the bus we knew we hit the jackpot. He was smiling from ear to ear, biggest smile ever (more than Hanukkah and Christmas combined). Now we took my daughter to Fall preview day and she wants summer to be tomorrow. The staff is beyond wonderful... they they don't miss a beat and think of everything to make sure our kids are happy and safe. Worth every penny.

We’ve sent 2 of our kids to Ramaquois for the past 3 summers! Our third will be finally be joining them next summer. This camp is amazing and everything is top notch! The staff and counselors care about the kids so much and work so hard to make sure the kids have the best summer! I appreciate how easy they make it for the parents, everything is sent to camp on the first day, so Im not running around every night packing bags for the next day! My kids come home everyday smiling and that is all I can ask for!

There are so many things that my family and I love about camp Ramaquois. The campgrounds are immaculate and very well kept, the special events that are put on throughout the summer are exciting and fun (my kids LOVE them), and the wide variety of activities that has something for every camper. The thing that really stands out the most to me is the staff. Everyone I have encountered, from the counselors to the administration and other staff are really incredible. My two children have very different interests and Ramaquois understands their needs and supports them throughout all camp activities. It is amazing to watch them grow, learn new skills, have new experiences, and do things they never through they could (the zip line across the lake or learning and performing a song and dance for Rama-games!). As great as the camp and activities are, the warm, caring, and amazing staff set Ramaquois apart from any other camp. And also, where else can you go sledding in the snow in August?!

Camp Ramaquois is a special place for kids and parents alike! Most recently, we attended two family camp days at Ramaqouis, one this summer and one this fall. The staff's spirit matched the spirit of summer and both visits were memorable and truly a highlight of 2020. Ramaquois is a special place that offers amazing experiences for our children. As an aside, as a parent of a child with food allergies, I feel 100% comfortable sending my child and letting her eat all of the food provided by camp. We are counting down until summer 2021!

I went to Camp Ramaquois over 30 years ago and was delighted to be able to now send my own children. The facility is incredible, the traditions remain and the staff fun and careful. Even during the pandemic they constantly made safe choices and offered limited weekend activities for families to still enjoy some of the camp fun. I am a proud alumni and proud parent of current campers and thrilled Ramaquois is just as great - if not better than it was when I was there.

We've been involved in the Camp Ramaquois community since just before Covid, and am so glad that we've found this happy corner of the world!

We've got two kids, both camp-age. Though our kids have very different interaction personalities, both have had a blast at CR events and made friends with the staff. I was surprised by how the kids responded to the staff's warmth and excitement to engage around activities.

The campus is really amazing too. Lots of nooks for activities, and a huge variety of things to do. Phenomenal program.

We have sent our 2 kids to Ramaquois for several years now. The activities and schedule have been great, with incredible counselors. I credit the amazing swim staff and low ratios of instructors to campers in the pool for teaching my kids to swim their first summer there. The Camp Directors and leadership team always go above and beyond. This includes making tough decisions like this past summer, in the abundance of caution, to unfortunately shut down the 2020 camp season. It was the right move. Knowing them well, 2021 will be the best camp year yet for all of the campers there.

We are so grateful for Camp Ramaquois! Our son had the most amazing summer in 2019. We were disappointed to hear camp wasn’t opening in 2020 but to us, this showed our family that Ramaquios wasn’t in it for the money! We are so thankful that if they didn’t feel like it was going to be in the best interest of the campers and staff to make that very difficult decision. We know this had to be such a hard call! We are again so grateful and can’t wait for 2021!

We sent both our children to Camp Ramaquois and couldn’t have had a better experience!!! There is legit no better day camp in our area. The owners and staff are extremely caring and beyond professional and it’s because of them that our children had this incredible experience for many years. Even during this pandemic they went beyond the call of duty for us to make sure we were treated as family and not just “another camper” like most camps. We highly recommend anyone looking to send their children to day camp that this is the place hands down...ty for everything!!!

Best day camp ever. They care so much about the camp experience that they even have a chief culture officer to assure that positive life values infuse everything they do. This is not a day care center; this is is place focused not just on summer fun, but personal growth. They care so much about the values-driven camp experience that they voluntarily chose to cancel last summer because of the coronavirus and the challenges is posed. It was a brave decision that put safety and culture above dollars and cents. Both my kids love the counselors, the activities, the program, and I can see them grow every time they go. The best!

Camp Ramaquois is truly a special place for our family. It was a tough summer without camp operating due to the pandemic, but we appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into this tremendous decision not to open. The directors emphasized the safety of every camper and staff member which was much appreciated. We did enjoy a family day at camp in August, with our own private pool/lifeguard and air conditioned bunk, which was a real treat! We are very much looking forward to summer 2021 back at Camp Ramaquois!

We went to family camp at Camp Ramaquois this past weekend and it was the highlight of the summer. The kids were excited to be on the Ramaquois ground again. We played on the playground, Gaga, basketball, walked all around the camp and had our children take and pass the deep water challenge with the lifeguard. It was nice to have our own private bunk, pool with lifeguards and shaded picnic area to eat lunch. Excited to go back for 2021.

Camp Ramaquois has provided a fantastic camping experience for my children. The staff are professional, responsive and above all they love the campers. The days are event packed and they really do provide a sleep away camp experience. This year they made the difficult decision to remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Financially this must have been very difficult as they make their entire annual revenue over the summer months. They chose the safety of "our children" and staff over profits which is highly commendable. I can't say enough wonderful things about this Camp and their staff.....I trust them with my children , what else can I say.....

You can't get any better than Ramaquois! From the first moment we visited, we knew this was the place where we wanted our 3 sons to spend their summer days. And we have never regretted our decision. Amazing staff that goes above and beyond to make the children feel like family. An incredibly engaging schedule that promotes friendship, confidence and creativity. Fantastic food options with meticulous attention to cleanliness and allergies (which one of our sons has). They have it all covered from A to Z. I couldn't be more pleased with the camp experience they provide. My kids cry for weeks when its over and spend the entire fall/winter/spring talking about how they can't wait to go back. Ramaquois rocks!

Camp Ramaquois is simply the best. The transition that I witnessed my kids go through this summer was incredible.

Their behavior, stamina, and overall demeanor changed- which has lended itself to a fantastic year at school.

I also had the pleasure of working at camp last summer as a counselor. Being on the other side as a staff member and a parent was truly rewarding.

Watching my 6 year old pass his deep water test and my 4 year old calm her fears and go down the zip-line was worth its weight in gold. Could not imagine spending our summers anywhere else!!!

Camp Ramaquois is the best - My husband and I both went to camp there, we both worked there and all 3 of our kids have gone there. Absolutely no complaints! They do it right.

Camp Ramaquois has been a life-saver for me. I am a sole parent and need child care for my very active son when school's are closed. I wanted to give my son the experience that I had at sleep away camp as a child but wanted him to be close, he was too young to go far from me. I searched high and low and found Camp Ramaquois. Nothing makes my son happy, yet everyday he came home from Camp with a huge smile on his face! Every year he is placed with the same group of friends and they learn and grow together. It builds a family experience for them that keeps growing each year. When I asked my son what his favorite thing to do at camp, his answer everything! He loves the zipline, boating, gagaball, Water Carnival, Carnival, Snow in the Summer, baseball, swim instruction, Hockey, Basketball, 4-Square, pickleball, tennis, recycle center, cooking, the petting zoo, ramapit, obstacle course, making s'mores, song and cheer and so much more... I also love how the camp is kept up-to-date, the facilities are immaculate, food services are great and I love the team of counselors that surround my son with, love, attention and fun each day! Thank you Camp Ramaquois for giving me all I need to make me feel like my son is safe and having fun all summer long!

My son has now spent the last two summers at Ramaquois and my daughter will be beginning summer camp there this upcoming summer. Ramaquois is a wonderful place! We have been so impressed with the extensive amount of activities offered to the children as well as the thorough and friendly staff that have made our experience such a pleasure. Everyone who works at Ramaquois is committed to the making sure the camp remains in outstanding condition. The grounds are kept immaculate and there is never a shortage of excitement. I know my children will grow up with the best of memories of their days at day camp.

Camp Ramaquios has been such a blessing for my 3 kids. They have each been there since they were 3 yrs old and they each associate summer with Ramaquois. The staff and facilities far exceeded my expectations. Having a child with food allergies is always a challenge especially when sending them into environments where they are severed food on a daily basis but Ramaquois has gone above and beyond to make sure my child is safe. Having spent the last 11 years with Camp Ramaquois split as a camper and counselor, it has truly become my summer home. With a caring and passionate staff, campers consistently look back at their summer with memories that bring them back for the following year. The motto around camp is "we wait 10 months for 2" and nothing could be truer for the staff and campers who return every year. Each summer at Ramaquois brings new friends, learned athletic/artistic skills, and exciting experiences with the Adventure Trip program. Camp Ramaquois has been a part of my family’s life for the past 6 years. My boy-girl twins are 14 years old now and just about the only thing they have in common is their birthday. My son is an outgoing, sporty kid with endless energy while my daughter is more reticent, shy and expresses little interests in athletics. With very little exaggeration, the one thing my kids have in common (except for their birthday of course) is their love for Ramaquois. Their time at Ramaquois is the greatest 8 weeks of the year. They each are the happiest versions of themselves as they reunite with their friends and Counselors from the previous years. Ramaquois has all of the bells and whistles one would expect from an elite camp, from the aerial adventure park, fencing, woodworking, vast array of arts and just about every sport imaginable. But what makes Ramaquois unique is the culture that it cultivates. As other reviewers have expressed, Rama has an extremely high rate of returning staff which is truly a testament to the camp. Campers and staff members alike can not wait until summer is here and can return to camp. Rama promotes individuality and allows campers the opportunity to explore new things in a safe and fun environment. A few years ago, my son decided to go to sleep away camp because he felt that the hours at Ramaquois were not long enough and if he could go to a camp like Rama 24/7, then he would love it that much more. The next summer we sent him to a sports-centric camp and after 2 weeks, my husband and I agreed to pick him up and return him to Ramaquois because as he said, nothing compares to Ramaquois. The friendships he forged along with the activities they participated in was way better than his sleep away experience. Ramaquois is a general camp where the groups travel to each activity together. As they get older, campers have the opportunity to elect a daily option period of their own choosing. Having children with wildly different interests, I love that they are exposed to so many activities that they would normally choose not to participate in. It has opened their eyes to other interests and has taught them to be a team player where being the best at that activity has no value. The idea of having pure, unplugged fun is what camp is all about and Ramaquois excels at accomplishing this for each and every camper.

Camp Ramaquois is AMAZING. It was my kids first year, and from the first phone call- they could not do enough to guide us and make us feel so comfortable. This continued throughout the entire summer. My kids had THE BEST summer. The camp has EVERYTHING for EVERYONE! My kids were happy as can be, had great experiences and met really nice kids. The counselors were stellar. I have never had such incredible communication from a camp they didn’t miss a beat- EVER! I cannot say enough about Camp Ramaquois! 5 stars!

If I could give Ramaquois 10 stars I would! Ramaquois is one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our girls. They came home happy & JOYFUL EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR 8 weeks! They created new and long-lasting friendships & tried new activities that gave them confidence & thrills. The staff is BEST IN CLASS...warm, organized, caring, spirited, down to earth, responsive- just the best. And the campus- INCREDIBLE!! Its really magic what they have going on there and I'm so grateful for every single counselor, instructor etc that contributed the 4 summers we have been there. Truly a gift for our children!! We are a proud Rama-family!!!

Our sons have attended Camp Ramaquois for several years now, after deciding not to go to sleepaway camp. They really enjoy everything about Ramaquois. From the activities to the trips. Even the food. My family has been in the camping business for 50 years and I cannot say enough good things about Ramaquois (especially how attentive and responsive the staff is). This has been a great experience for both of our sons and they cannot wait to go back this summer.

My two kids have been attending Camp Ramaquois for the past 9 years and they absolutely love it! They look forward all year to spending another summer at Ramaquois. They have made lifelong friends there and love all the activities offered. They enjoy swimming, sports, arts & crafts, and trips. This camp is an absolute dream. It’s as if you have stepped back in time to how things used to be ... should be.. class, respect, service - true old fashioned values, true old fashioned all American family business.

My son has jumped out of bed every morning to catch the bus for the last 4 summers and comes home happy, full and tired. This was a kid that cried everyday his first few years of school.

He loves the kids, the counselors, the activities... the trips, the entire camp! A camp paradise..there truly isn’t anything not to love.

He’s done and learned things that matter ... how to just play... make friends... make things with his hands out of wood... hit a ball... run around outside... be responsible... be independent... and NOT stare at a screen any of the day.

As a mom all of that means everything to me but Camp Ramaquois also makes MY summer awesome too. From the way they run the bus back and forth - door to door!!!! to the notes from home to the uniforms and so much more. But I have to say the towel service is one of my favorite things that truly illustrates how well thought out every detail is. What a simple pleasure to not have wet towels come home every day adding to my laundry!

We have sacrificed for a long time to send our kids to a great private school for many reasons including where it is we live... but I have said many times this private school could learn a lot about how to run things from Camp Ramaquois. They don’t even come close to treating us the way Ramaquois does as a family, as people.

I know when you read reviews people will take things “with a grain of salt” but I couldn’t have been more honest about how I feel about Camp Ramaquois and every single person I’ve ever dealt with from there has exceeded any expectations I could ever have had.

Finally, at Camp Ramaquois you truly get what you pay for (almost nonexistent these days no?) plus you get much much more, extended family and a summer home away from home.

Luc can’t wait to do it all again this summer! And next year he wants to be a counselor in training!

I highly recommend Camp Ramaquois. My son started there when he was around 7 or 8 and LOVED it! We decided to try sleep away camp and that was a disaster for him. He return to Ramequois the next summer and was greeted with positive energy and love! He has never looked back! He hopes to be there for as long as he can! Ramaquois is his summer home away from home!

Spent 22 memorable summers there!

I have been involved in camping for 36 years. I was a camper, a counselor, a group head, an athletic director, an assistant director, and now a camp owner and director. I have never witnessed anything as great as Camp Ramaquois. It is as close to perfection as can be. They work as hard as any place in the world at researching, preparing, and executing their plan. The campus is stunning, the staff is trained like no other place, the program is a masterpiece, and the directors are gold to me. When you walk through the campus, you hear cheering and chatter all day. The feeling there is like Disney World, but better. Ramaqouis is like its own city. They have around 10 pools, multiple indoor and outdoor gyms, fields, art rooms, cooking areas, and so much more. The traditions are purely their own, and the camp runs like a machine. It is nurturing, yet firm with its rules and supervision, and SAFETY, both emotionally and physically is always the priority. Any camp can say this, but they LIVE IT! I worked there over 10 years ago, and I have lived my life by their system both at work, and at home ever since. Not a day goes by that I do not think of the Ramaqouis family, and what they have meant to my life. I believe they are always ahead of time with their innovative ideas, and the ability to make a difference in not only their campers' lives, but everyone who ever works there or spends time. I recommend anyone who ever has a chance to witness camp in action to go see it for themselves. I attended Camp Ramaquois for 16 years (both as a camper and counselor) and if I could go back and do it all again I would in a heartbeat! Thanks to the amazing staff, activities, and friends Ramaquois was more than just a camp, but a summer home. Some of my very best memories were made at Camp Ramaquois, and I would highly recommend to all!

There is no other place in the world that I would rather spend my summers. Being a counselor at Camp Ramaquois for the past six years has given me some of my best friends as well as the chance to be able to grow as a leader and mentor for children.
