Girls Entering 3rd Grade

Teenas

Girls who are entering 3rd grade are excited to be part of Girls’ Side, known as the “Spirit” of Ramaquois. Girls are encouraged to celebrate their individuality and support each other. The Teenas sing, dance and laugh with each other, while experiencing everything that Ramaquois has to offer!

Girls’ Side

The Spirit of Camp Ramaquois

I’m almost afraid to come home from work today because I fear Selma will be in tears! She had such an incredible summer. Every day coming home joyful. . . . singing, laughing and with tons of PRIDE! Thanks for all that YOU did to make her summer so special. My husband and I are so grateful. Ramaquois is Selma’s happy-place !!!

We challenge Girls’ Side campers in athletic, creative, and social ways while feeling supported; these opportunities allow them to take healthy risks, develop self-esteem, increase their competencies, and build confidence in themselves. Girls’ Side is a kind and respectful community that offers its campers real experiences and authentic connections.

Optional Adventure Trip Program

A New Adventure Awaits!

Campers entering 3rd grade and older are ready for some new adventures! Our optional trip program lets campers choose from several exciting day trips. Historically, Ramaquois has visited amusement parks, Broadway shows, baseball games and many other exciting venues! Campers entering 6th grade and older are offered overnight trips. All of our trips feature very low staff to camper ratios - safety is always our top priority. The best part of a Ramaquois trip is bonding with new and old friends during unique experiences!

With a five acre lake and nine heated pools of varying depths, there is plenty of room for campers to “spread their fins.”
Learning to Swim

We View Swimming as a Critical Life Skill

Our goal is to help each camper improve his or her comfort level in the water and improve his or her individual swimming skills. Ramaquois swim groups feature very low camper-to-swim instructor ratios. Our campers have swim instruction every morning and free swim every afternoon. We are always so proud of how much each camper improves in just one summer! Learn more about our lake and pools
