Camp Ramaquois is proud to serve Bergen County Campers!

Camp Ramaquois, in scenic Rockland County, New York is located just north of Bergen County, New Jersey. Ramaquois campers hail from every part of northern NJ including Tenafly, Closter, Demarest, Englewood, Englewood Cliffs, Woodcliff Lake, Upper Saddle River, Franklin Lakes, Mahwah, Ramsey and more! Ramaquois offers the safest, and most fun, transportation program from New Jersey to our summer day camp.

Safe & Comfortable Transportation from New Jersey to our Day Camp

Upbeat and comforting bus counselors, experienced bus drivers, and top-of-the-line safety harnesses and seat belts provide the ideal environment for all of our Bergen County campers. An air-conditioned, late model, mini-bus will pick your child up in front of your home and return him or her to your home in New Jersey at the end of each camp day.

Travel to Camp Ramaquois

We use the Palisades Parkway as our preferred route to camp. Ramaquois is located off of Exit 13 in Pomona, NY.

Bus Counselors

Our vans are driven by professional, certified, school bus drivers. Additionally, there is at least one Ramaquois bus counselor on the van. The bus counselor ensures that every child is seat-belted and engaged in an age-appropriate activity. At Ramaquois, we believe that the camp day begins when the camper steps onto the bus.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for so many wonderful years at Ramaquois. My boys, Ben and Luke, went to Ramaquois for a total of 14 years. Ramaquois was nothing short of exciting, friendship building, nurturing, fun and extremely well staffed. Everything from the bus ride to the care with the nurses to the group leaders was so well oiled and professional. Thank you for helping my boys learn to cherish the meaning of camp! It will stay with them forever and ever!
