Rangers (2nd Grade) | Camp Ramaquois (Day Camp)

Rangers (2nd Grade)

Boys entering 2nd grade are called Rangers at Camp Ramaquois.  Each group of Rangers has three counselors.  A division leader oversees all of the Rangers groups.

Rangers are spending their first year on Boys’ Side.  This is a very excting change for these boys!  They participate in Boys’ Side line-up, Song & Cheer and have several new activities such as Bonzo Ball, Game Tent and Ga-Ga!high-five

Rangers will swim twice each day.  In the morning, they will have Swim Instruction, and in the afternoon they will have a free swim.  All of our Lake and water activities are strictly supervised by American Red Cross lifeguards. Rangers also enjoy Water Works, Bumper Boats and watercrafts on the Rama-Lake.

Our Boys’ Side program provides campers with a mix of athletic and non-athletic activities. All of our Athletics are instruction based and focused on skill development. Our field specialists and athletic directors lead each activity and assume no prior knowledge or experience with the sport. Rangers participate in a fun-filled softball league!

The non-athletic activities are a mix of Crafts, Cultural and Adventure activities, including the Zip Line, low ropes course, tech lab, gymnastics and much more. Rangers have two individual choice periods per week. Campers are exposed to a variety of activities and are sure to try something new at camp!

The regular camp program is supplemented by exciting divisional and all-camp Special Events such as Water Carnival, Rama-Games, magicians and more!
