The first activity of the camp day where all of Girls Side comes together for: announcements, counselor & division competitions, and SPIRIT!
SPIRIT Counselor Events
Campers and counselors know its time for lineup when the whistle blows. At that time, all groups make their way to field 6. Lineup starts off with Jann saying "Good morning Girls Side." All of the counselors and campers reply with: "Good morning Jann!" We then go through announcements which are followed by "Battle of the Division Competitions." This past summer, counselors from each division would compete against each other in quick games such as: over under, egg toss, volleyball and towel relay, hula hoop contests, red light green light, rock paper scissors, etc. Each win resulted in a point for your division!
CAP Rock
The oldest campers at Ramaquois, The Caps, get the special privilege of sitting on the famous CAP Rock during line-up. This is a tradition that has been implemented for years and something that all girls on the Spirit Side wait for.
COUNSELOR OF THE WEEK
Once a week at morning line up we recognize three counselors who have gone above and beyond. A brief description of the counselor is stated and then they are called up to the center of the field. Once all 3 counselors have been recognized the division leaders for whom they work with, come out with whip cream pies and pie them in the face. This tradition I believe used to be done by the PIE MAN but now it's done by the division leaders.
