Located just off of exit 13 on the Palisades Parkway in Pomona, Ramaquois is proud to be the longest operating summer camp in Rockland County! Ramaquois offers the best value in Rockland day camping for campers ages 3 to 15.
Safe & Comfortable Transportation
Ramaquois offers the safest and most fun transportation program from Rockland to our summer day camp. Upbeat and comforting bus counselors, experienced bus drivers, and top-of-the-line safety harnesses and seat belts provide the ideal environment for all of our Rockland campers. An air-conditioned, late model, mini-bus will pick your child up in front of your home and return him or her home at the end of each camp day. Our vans are driven by professional, certified, school bus drivers.
Travel to Camp
Camp Ramaquois is located in the heart of Rockland County – just minutes from Suffern, New City, Nanuet, Nyack and Piermont!
Bus Counselors
Additionally, there is at least one Ramaquois bus counselor on each van. The bus counselor ensures that every child is seat-belted and engaged in an age-appropriate activity. At Ramaquois, we believe that the camp day begins when the camper steps onto the bus.
OK, I had to share! I was tucking my son to sleep tonight and he said “Mom, do you grow when you sleep?” so I said yes and he said “then I never want to sleep so I can always be little and stay in Junior Camp forever”. Just a testament to how great Ramaquois is and how it’s seen through the eyes of a 5 year old… *
